We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our Product Engineering team in Coimbatore. This role involves building complex, large-scale backend systems with deep expertise in Java and Spring.

This is a senior-level role requiring strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and hands-on development expertise.

Key Responsibilities :

* Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend solutions using Core Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable features.

* Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices and reviews.

* Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where required.

* Work closely with Cloud product owners to understand, analyze product requirements, provide feedback, and deliver a complete solution.

* Technical leadership of software design in meeting requirements of service stability, reliability, scalability, and security.

* Participate and drive technical discussions within engineering group in all phases of the SDLC: review requirements, produce design documents, participate in peer reviews, produce test plans, support QA team, provide internal training and support tech team.

Required Skills:

* Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8 or above), Spring Boot, and Microservices.

* Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

* Experience working with RESTful APIs, multithreaded programming, and performance optimization.

* Good knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and caching mechanisms.

* Strong background in designing and developing event-based / pub-sub workflows & data ingestion solutions. Proficiency and hands on experience with Kafka at scale (or similar) desired.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

* Exposure to front-end integration (Angular/React) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6+ years of professional experience in backend development.

* Proven track record in delivering complex, R&D-driven projects.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team.
