Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
backend applications
using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
Build and optimize
event-driven systems
using Kafka.
Develop clean, reusable, and scalable code with strong focus on performance and reliability.
Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Build RESTful APIs, integrate with external services, and ensure secure communication.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
Work with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) for deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
Leverage
AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot / Azure Copilot)
to improve development productivity and maintain best coding practices.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

Required Skills

Strong expertise in
Java (8/11/17)
and
Spring Boot
.
Solid experience in
Microservices design and development
.
Hands-on experience with
Kafka
(producers, consumers, topics, partitions, schema registry preferred).
Strong knowledge of
REST APIs
, authentication, and security principles.
Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and SQL.
Understanding of CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and version control (Git)

Good to Have

Experience with any cloud platform:
AWS, Azure, or GCP
.
Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud-native deployments.
Hands-on experience using
GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT-based coding assistants, or AI-powered development tools
.
Understanding of DevOps tools and monitoring systems.
Knowledge of caching (Redis), messaging systems, or distributed systems concepts.
