Senior Java Bigdata Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data platform frameworks utilizing Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, and GCP services including Big Query, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub. Your role will involve building and maintaining data pipelines to support business intelligence, analytics, and AI/ML workloads, optimizing data processing performance, and ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency of cloud-native data solutions on GCP. You will leverage your strong proficiency in Java for data engineering and backend development, hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, and expertise in GCP services to develop efficient data processing applications and frameworks. Working with structured and unstructured data sources, you will integrate data from multiple systems into a unified platform and collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions. In addition, you will be involved in performance tuning of Spark jobs, SQL queries, and distributed computing environments, implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, and setting up monitoring solutions to track system health and performance. Your role will also require knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling concepts, and experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code.
