Senior Java Backend Developer

As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and new products used in various computer programs. You will interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and participate in software design meetings to determine technical requirements. Based on conceptual designs and business requirements, you will write technical specifications and develop code using current programming languages and technologies. Additionally, you will complete documentation, procedures for installation and maintenance, and provide training to internal teams on system applications. You may also be involved in project planning, budgeting, and presenting technical information to internal and external audiences. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in developing Java applications or services. You must possess knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Springboot, Restful Web services, SQL databases like PostgresDB and MySQL, NoSQL databases like Cassandra and DynamoDB, and message streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka and ActiveMQ. Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and RDS, as well as experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Microservices using the latest technologies, is required. You should also have worked on quality assurance tools like SonarQube, BlackDuck, or similar tools, and have experience in using CICD environments for deployments. Basic understanding of DevOps or the Network layer of a Microservice is preferred.
