Senior Java Backend Developer

As a highly skilled Senior Backend Java Developer with 4 or more years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems. Your expertise in Java, Spring, SQL, and unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito will be crucial. It is essential to be familiar with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot. Additionally, experience with DevOps practices and cloud platforms like AWS is preferred. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure backend services using Java and the Spring framework. You will develop and execute unit and integration tests, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize SQL queries for high-performance data operations. Leveraging AI-assisted coding tools will be key to boosting productivity and code quality. Participation in code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing to technical documentation and Agile processes are also expected. To qualify for this role, you should have a strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming, hands-on experience with Spring/Spring Boot, and proficiency in testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.
