Senior IT PMO Project Manager

As an IT PMO Senior Project Manager at our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading complex IT projects to successful completion. With a minimum of 8 to 10 years of IT project management experience in a large, global company, you will be required to demonstrate expertise in Project Management industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing of IT projects in alignment with company goals and project objectives. - Developing comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinating various managers and technical personnel. - Overseeing a global, cross-functional project team, providing strong leadership to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met. - Establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with project owners and stakeholders, leading projects from the front and ensuring transparent communication. - Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. - Conducting regular project reviews, reporting progress, risks, and opportunities to executive management and key stakeholders. - Developing timely project status reports and addressing deviations from the project schedule. - Monitoring project risk factors, escalating project issues, and providing Quality Assurance for all project deliverables. - Applying PMI institute's ten key knowledge areas of project management and driving continuous improvement within the PMO. - Utilizing strong presentation skills to convey complex project information to executive audiences. - Fostering a collaborative team environment, building strong relationships, and employing active listening, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. As an ideal candidate, you should possess: - A minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field. - Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile). - Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction. - Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong leadership skills with experience in leading global, cross-functional teams. - Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. - Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide team members and stakeholders. - Highly process-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency. - Experience in managing projects within specific IT domains and a thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Testing Tools. - Proficiency in project management software and tools. - Excellent oral and written communication skills.,
