Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 1. Review and Finalize Technical Documentation: o Review and finalize instrument datasheets, P&IDs, Instrument lists, I/O lists, control valve specifications, and other technical documents to ensure they meet project requirements. o Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards. 2. System Calculations and Analysis: o Perform system calculations and detailed analysis for instrumentation design to ensure optimal performance and reliability. o Verify that designs meet required performance criteria and compliance standards. 3. Design Compliance and Standards: o Ensure that all designs meet project specifications, relevant codes, and industry standards. o Maintain strict adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality requirements in all design and implementation phases. 4. Site Visits and Reporting: o Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project progress and provide support in identifying design-related issues. o Prepare comprehensive reports based on site visits, including observations, recommendations, and corrective actions. 5. Project Reviews and Safety Studies: o Actively participate in project review meetings, safety studies, and design reviews, ensuring all potential risks are identified and mitigated. o Document key findings and action items from meetings and follow up to ensure resolution. 6. Coordination and Collaboration: o Coordinate with the departments lead to help develop, update, and maintain engineering standards and best practices. o Support the project team in preparing regular project progress reports and provide technical guidance as required. 7. Support for Project Execution: o Provide technical support during the execution phase to ensure instrumentation designs are effectively implemented. o Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any design or installation issues during project execution. Qualifications: • Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Instrumentation Engineering, • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience
