Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to design and develop learning solutions and provide end-to-end consultation for business stakeholders. This role will not only focus on instructional design but also involve acting as a learning consultant to guide stakeholders particularly in cases where requests are out of scope. The Senior Instructional Designer will offer expert guidance to enable stakeholders to manage their own projects, while also guiding the instructional design team on best practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Instructional Design & Development: Identify user needs, analyze and logically organize complex technical information, and transform complex bodies of information into professionally designed, engaging and effective programs. Create learner-centric content using instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE). Develop blended learning, eLearning, and instructor-led training materials aligned with business goals. Leverage multimedia and technology to enhance learning experiences. 2. Stakeholder & Client Consultation: Engage with business stakeholders to assess and understand their learning needs. Gather and analyze input of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and modify instructional material In situations where requests are out of scope, provide clear guidance on how stakeholders can manage the project themselves. Offer ongoing expert support to help stakeholders implement effective solutions. Establish trust and maintain strong partnerships with internal clients. 3. Leadership & Mentorship: Conduct peer-reviews to support colleagues in their projects. Mentor and coach junior instructional designers in consulting, instructional design, and project management. Share best practices and innovations to elevate the quality of the teams work. Lead internal workshops to drive continuous improvement. 4. Project Management: Manage multiple learning projects from needs analysis to post-training evaluation. Collaborate with SMEs, designers, and technical teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery. Manage user-acceptance testing (UAT) for newly introduced or modified content 5. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on industry trends, learning technologies, and instructional best practices. Identify opportunities to enhance learning outcomes and efficiency. Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of Instructional Design principles and adult learning theory. Experience consulting with learning and business professionals to ensure training materials achieve defined learning outcomes Contributes to the goals of the team including daring to design differently, collaborating to strengthen ideas, and focusing on the learner experience and performance outcomes. Experience in customized, thoughtful, creative Learning Experiences beyond basic eLearning. Experience with eLearning development tools such as Storyline, Captivate, or Evolve. Ability to effectively present complex technical and soft-skill concepts through design and visuals. Apply visual design principles to all solutions ensuring sophisticated design that draws the learner in and enhances the learning experience.
