Senior Infra Engineer

As an Infrastructure Architect at Qualitest Group, your role involves designing and implementing scalable infrastructure architectures across cloud (AWS/Azure), on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will be responsible for operationalizing infrastructure by handling provisioning, configuration, and patching in alignment with business and technology objectives. Your key responsibilities include: - Evaluating and recommending tools and technologies for infra-automation, monitoring, and backup. - Implementing infrastructure standards, frameworks, and best practices such as IaC, CI/CD for infrastructure, and zero trust. - Collaborating with software architects, developers, DevOps, security, cloud governance, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration. - Coordinating infrastructure design reviews, risk assessments, and performance optimization efforts. - Guiding Infrastructure engineers and developers in modern engineering practices. - Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, IT governance, and disaster recovery policies. - Supporting incident response and conducting root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues. - Maintaining compliance and audit readiness of IT governance processes and data protection regulations. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - 9+ years of overall IT experience, with 6+ years in Infrastructure and at least 4+ years in an infra-architecture leadership position. - Deep expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Hands-on experience with AWS Fargate, AWS CloudWatch, and AWS Secrets Manager. - Solid expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet). - Deep knowledge of networking, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and storage technologies. - Familiarity with monitoring tool New Relic, IT security principles, compliance standards (ISO, SOC, HIPAA), and DR/BCP planning. - Continuous improvement mindset to enhance Infrastructure operationalization maturity. - Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - Working experience with Agile/SCRUM/Kanban methodologies. Preferred qualifications and certifications include: - AWS Certified Solutions Architect. - Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. - Experience in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure.
