Senior IFRS Specialist

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Financial reporting specialist, to join our international Accounting team, organizing and improving IFRS 15 closing process.

• Become a Global Process Owner for defined IFRS accounting areas (ie IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 9)
• Take full responsibility for Accounting areas and improve processes and our internal control system
• GL bookings and account and entity reconciliations
• Ensure accounting data is delivered timely in high-quality
• Create accounting manuals and documentation
• Take full responsibility for the monthly closing of individual entities
• Support and actively participate in international projects
  

Requirements

• IFRS 15 knowledge and experience is a must
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Management, Economics (or equivalent)
• Very good understanding of general accounting principles 
• Professional certification in accounting or finance preferred (ACCA, CPA, CFA) 
• Hands-on mentality and positive mindset 
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role 
• Process-driven 
• Technical experience with accounting software  
• Personal responsibility, ability to work independently and against timelines, and enjoying changes and innovations
