Job Description

A. Production & Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate daily production schedules and track output vs. targets.
  • Monitor workflow and support the production team in eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores for smooth operations.
  • Support new product launches and engineering change implementation.

B. Supply Chain & Inventory (If applicable)

  • Manage inward and outward material flow.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of components.
  • Maintain inventory records (RM/PM/FG) and ensure stock accuracy.
  • Monitor logistics activitytransport planning, dispatch documentation, etc.

C. Quality & Compliance Support

  • Ensure adherence to ISO/TS/IATF standards.
  • Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
  • Maintain SOPs, checklists, and process records.
  • Track NCRs, CAPA, and quality improvement activities.

D. HR / Admin Responsibilities (If role is HR related)

  • Manage attendance, leave records, and support payroll inputs.
  • Coordinate manpower planning and deployment on the shop floor.
  • Handle onboarding, training coordination, and statutory records.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws (ESIC, PF, Contract Labour, etc.).

E. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain departmental MIS and dashboards.
  • Track KPIs, cost metrics, productivity metrics.
  • Prepare management presentations and reports.

F. Coordination & Communication

  • Act as a link between production, quality, maintenance, logistics, and management.
  • Follow up with internal teams for timely completion of tasks.
  • Support client audits, visits, and communication.

3. Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of automobile manufacturing processes (Assembly, Fabrication, Machining, Paint, etc.).
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and TPM methodology.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP, and reporting tools.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Team management and leadership skills.
