We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT HR Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both human resources and IT, with the ability to bridge the gap between these two domains. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of HR processes with technology while supporting the IT department's workforce needs. Job Overview: As an IT HR Specialist, you will be responsible for managing HR processes related to IT professionals, from recruitment to employee development. You will collaborate closely with the IT department to understand workforce needs, streamline HR workflows, and ensure technology solutions are effectively utilized to improve HR operations. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition: Work closely with the IT department to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies for IT positions. Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating offers. Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new IT hires, ensuring all technical and HR documentation is in place. Employee Relations & Development: Act as a point of contact for IT employees regarding HR-related concerns, providing guidance and support as needed. Coordinate and support training and development initiatives for IT staff, helping to ensure continuous learning and skill development. Assist in performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal setting for IT personnel. HRIS Management: Work with HR software and tools to streamline HR processes specific to IT staff, including payroll, benefits, and employee data management. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that HR systems are functioning optimally and suggest improvements where necessary. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in HR-related processes. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of IT employees in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Generate regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and training outcomes, specific to IT teams. Stay updated on HR best practices, IT workforce trends, and relevant technology solutions. Collaboration & Strategy: Collaborate with HR colleagues on broader initiatives, such as employee engagement, benefits, and retention strategies, tailored for IT staff. Assist in workforce planning for the IT department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic objectives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on IT roles or working closely with IT departments. Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations, particularly within tech teams. Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with HR software tools specific to IT workforce management is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to HR practices. Preferred Skills: Experience in a tech-focused or IT-driven company. Familiarity with IT industry trends, including in-demand technical skills and roles. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not required.
