Role Overview: Sr Executive - HR at Banaraswala Wire Mesh (BWM) operates as an HR generalist at the factory level, managing and implementing HR functions to ensure a productive, compliant, and positive work environment. Reporting directly to the Manager-HR (Generalist), this role involves handling a wide range of HR activities and acting as a key liaison between factory employees and management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Employee Relations: Point of Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for factory employees regarding HR-related inquiries, grievances, and conflict resolution. Positive Work Environment: Foster a positive work environment through open communication and timely resolution of employee concerns. Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to boost morale and productivity. 2. Payroll and Attendance Management: Attendance Tracking: Oversee accurate tracking of employee attendance and time records. Payroll Assistance: Assist in payroll processing by ensuring accurate documentation of attendance, overtime, and leave records. Compliance: Ensure adherence to wage and hour laws and company policies. 3. Recruitment and Onboarding: Recruitment: Assist in recruiting factory-level employees, including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews. Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training on company policies and safety procedures. Integration: Ensure a smooth transition and effective integration of new employees into the factory's work culture. 4. HR Compliance and Documentation: Compliance: Ensure adherence to labour laws and regulations related to factory operations. Record Maintenance: Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations. Reporting: Prepare HR reports, audits, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance. 5. Training and Development: Training Needs: Identify training needs and coordinate with the central HR team to deliver relevant programs. Effectiveness Monitoring: Monitor training effectiveness and support continuous learning and upskilling. 6. Performance Management: PMS Implementation: Assist in implementing the Performance Management System (PMS), including performance reviews and feedback. Performance Monitoring: Monitor employee performance and address performance issues in collaboration with the Manager-HR. 7. Health, Safety, and Welfare: Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Safe Environment: Promote a safe working environment through safety audits and hazard reporting. Welfare Programs: Support employee welfare programs and wellness initiatives. 8. Support to the Manager-HR: Assistance: Assist the Manager-HR in executing HR strategies and initiatives at the factory level. Liaison: Act as a liaison between the factory and the central HR team to ensure alignment with organizational goals. HR Meetings: Participate in HR meetings and contribute insights on factory-specific HR challenges.
