At Urban Company, we are hiring Content Designers for the founding team of our new services & products — Wall Décor. We invite you to join us in solving a complex challenge: how to seamlessly inspire, browse, and help choose the perfect interior design look. And then bring it to life for our customers. We are looking for someone with: A high-quality portfolio that speaks for itself. Graphic design skills that are not only stunning but also thoughtful. 1–3 years of experience in a core graphic design role Highly proficient in Figma & Photoshop. Skills such as photo manipulation, post-processing, and making edits in Photoshop are a must. Proficient in Midjourney and/or similar AI image-gen tools A keen eye for applying brand aesthetics and art direction to various types of visuals, with a commitment to keep refining the output Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to design your ideas/vision. And be able to communicate your ideas in visuals. A passion for staying updated on interior design trends and home décor — or a willingness to learn and grow in this domain. Responsibilities: You’ll design every visual for our core Home Décor category Produce visuals for the in-app content for our décor services & products Use generative AI tools to aid your work, speed up your workflow & iterate fast (we provide the tools, obviously!) You’ll also get to work on multiple projects like in-house branding, high-end magazine spreads, packaging, teasers, video assets, launch events, and more. You’ll be part of the core design team of Home Décor Your role as a core team member: Be part of Urban Company’s core design team, where your work will help shape the future of wall decor Demonstrate intent: Deliver high-quality work, efficiently and effectively Uphold integrity: Commit to deadlines, raise concerns early, and take full ownership of your deliverables Show commitment: Ensure top-quality craftsmanship and adherence to timelines, pushing the boundaries of excellence What can you expect: A great work environment with massive ownership and growth opportunities.
