Job Description

We are Hiring a Senior General Manager Sales for a Leading Pharmaceuticals Brand. Location: Mumbai **Local Candiates Preferred** Candidate Requirements: Education: MBA or Post Graduation in Sales and Marketing Industry Preference: Candidates from the Pharma or Pharma Packaging industry will be given priority. Experience: 18-20 years, preferably in Pharma (Injectables) or Packaging. Leadership: Must have prior experience managing a team. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional and multi-level relationships between regional customers, partners, and internal teams to drive sales growth, unlock business opportunities, and maximize profitability. Performance will be assessed through key KPIs, such as revenue growth, new business acquisition, inventory and receivables management, and effective sales team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall business expansion in India and international markets. Identify and seize new market opportunities to drive business growth. Foster and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to enhance loyalty and satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to boost profitability and broaden the customer base. Manage payment collections, follow-ups, and recovery processes to ensure healthy cash flow. Monitor and control FG stock levels to maintain optimal inventory. Collect and analyze market feedback for continuous business improvement. Regularly track and report sales performance metrics. Plan and execute promotional events to enhance brand visibility. Promote new organizational developments to strengthen product positioning. Conduct customer visits to understand their requirements and offer effective solutions. Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, and technical teams to optimize business operations and ensure prompt customer responses. Enhance product knowledge in coordination with the Technical and Quality departments to improve customer engagement. Utilize SAP (SD Module) and CRM tools for efficient sales tracking and relationship management. Key Deliverables: Business Growth: Expand market presence and increase sales revenue. Customer Base Expansion: Acquire new clients while strengthening existing relationships. Profitability Improvement: Implement strategies to optimize revenue and operational efficiency. Competencies & Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, negotiation, and customer focus. Product and market expertise, strategic planning, resource management, cost monitoring, process improvement, and internal control. Leadership, relationship-building, results-driven mindset, self-management, and interpersonal communication. Excellent in: Decision-making, planning, data analysis, organizational leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, adaptability, persuasion, presentation, and public speaking. Proficient in: Business negotiation, resource optimization, team management, conflict resolution, reporting, MS Office, and SAP.
