Job Title: Senior GenAI Engineer

Location:

Bangalore

Apply core engineering concepts, AI/ML expertise, and domain knowledge to design and develop scalable AI-driven systems.
Play a key role in building high-quality, reliable, and secure solutions using modern development practices.
Empower team members and influence engineering excellence across the organization.
Report to the Lead Engineer – Business Banking Technology, contributing directly to strategic modernization initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities

Build scalable agentic AI solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and support business goals.
Implement MLOps pipelines, including model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Design and run experiments to evaluate model performance; continuously refine models.
Apply automated LLM output validation and AI metrication techniques (e.g., GLEU, BLEU).
Incorporate ethical AI practices into model development and deployment.
Work hands-on with AWS services such as SNS, SQS, Lambda.
Utilize big data technologies including Spark framework, Vector DB, and related platforms.
Collaborate with software engineers to deploy AI models into production environments with scalability and reliability.
Participate in research initiatives exploring new GenAI models, frameworks, and methodologies.
Develop monitoring systems to track and improve AI model performance in production.
Apply DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, automation, and secure engineering.

Essential Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development.
Strong expertise in:

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
Prompt Engineering
Vector DB, DynamoDB, Redshift
Spark, Parquet, Iceberg
Python
MLOps

Experience with AI and ML tools such as:

Langfuse, LlamaIndex, MLflow
GLEU, BLEU

Hands-on experience with AWS: SNS, SQS, Lambda
Strong foundation in traditional machine learning techniques
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication skills for influencing technical decisions
