Flecks Labs At Flecks Labs , we build highly engaging social multiplayer games for emerging platforms. Our games have reached millions of players across Facebook, Discord, and mobile platforms. As we expand, we’re looking for a Senior Game Developer to join our growing team. Role Overview: We are looking for a strong game developer with hands-on experience in building and optimizing 2D/3D games. While Unity experience is welcome, preference will be given to candidates with experience in alternative engines such as Defold, Phaser, Cocos Creator, or similar lightweight frameworks . You’ll be working closely with game designers, artists, and backend engineers to bring new game ideas to life and scale existing titles. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize games across multiple platforms (web, mobile, social). Lead core gameplay and systems programming, from prototyping to live operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement game features. Optimize performance, memory usage, and scalability of game clients. Contribute to architectural decisions for reusability, modularity, and scalability. Mentor junior developers and help establish best practices. Requirements: 4+ years of professional game development experience. Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Lua, or C++ (depending on engine). Experience shipping games using engines like Defold, Phaser, Cocos Creator, Godot, or similar . Solid understanding of game architecture, state management, physics, and rendering. Familiarity with multiplayer game concepts is a plus. Experience with performance profiling and optimization on mobile and web. Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Nice to Have: Prior experience building social or casual multiplayer games. Familiarity with backend services (Firebase, PlayFab, Photon, Colyseus, etc). Experience with Facebook Instant Games, Discord games, or HTML5 game development.
