As a Senior Fullstack Java Developer at Material, your role is crucial in developing both front-end and back-end components of web applications using Java and related technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless functionality of the entire application, from user interface design to backend infrastructure management. Your expertise will contribute to the growth and success of the companies we partner with. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance applications using Full Stack Java and Spring Boot framework. - Design and implement user interfaces using React.js. - Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle. - Create detailed design documentation. - Integrate Okta (OIDC) with Spring Boot for secure authentication and authorization. - Ensure high-quality code delivery, measurable by SonarQube or similar tools. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD). - Utilize design patterns such as SOLID, Circuit Breaker, Saga, and Orchestration. - Manage complex tasks and deliver high-quality solutions in a team setting. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong experience with Full Stack Java and Spring Boot framework. - Proficiency in React.js for front-end development. - Strong understanding of database management, particularly with Aurora Postgres. - Experience in integrating authentication/authorization services, specifically Okta (OIDC). - Strong knowledge of design patterns such as EDD, SOLID, Circuit Breaker, Saga, and Orchestration. - Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code, as measured by tools like SonarQube. - Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. **Good To Have:** - Experience leveraging AWS services such as EKS Clusters, ALB, AWS API Gateway, S3, EFS, etc., for developing cloud-based solutions. - Experience with the implementation of Kafka as a message broker. - Experience with large-scale database management and optimization.
