Senior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and enhance Java/Angular codebase and resolve production issues.
  
• Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks.
  
• Participate in design discussions and collaborate with Product Owners & engineering teams.
  
• Build and maintain configuration and business logic documentation.
  
• Support and mentor junior team members.
  
• Implement coding best practices and patterns.
  
• Estimate work efforts accurately and deliver high-quality solutions.
  
• Work across teams and third-party integrations as required.
  
• Develop scalable solutions for complex problems and suggest process improvements.
  

Required Skills

• 5+ years of development experience with

  Java, Spring, Spring Boot

  (JDK 11+ preferred).
• 3+ years building

  RESTful APIs

  with JSON.
• Hands-on experience with

  Microservices

  and cloud platforms (

  AWS / Azure / Oracle Cloud

  ).
• Strong SQL experience (

  Oracle / PostgreSQL

  ) including complex queries and query tuning.
• Experience with

  Docker & Kubernetes

  (kubectl, container builds).
• Familiarity with

  Agile / Scrum

  .
• Experience with messaging technologies (

  RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka

  ) is a plus.
• Experience with build and version control tools (

  Git, Gradle, Bamboo / Bitbucket

  ) is preferred.
• Background in loyalty, accounting, or banking applications is an advantage.
  

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
