Senior Full Stack Python Developer

As a Senior Full Stack Python Engineer with 5+ years of experience, you will play a crucial role in developing a Resilience Metrics Platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of the platform. - Collaborating with UI/UX developers to translate design requirements into functional React/Material UI components for real-time monitoring dashboards. - Utilizing popular JavaScript libraries for real-time dashboards such as Chart.js, D3.js, Highcharts, Recharts, ECharts, and Plotly.js. - Designing, building, and consuming secure, reusable RESTful APIs using FastAPI. - Contributing to the development of data ingestion and ETL framework, including building and maintaining collectors for various data sources. - Implementing business logic for metric evaluation based on rule definitions. - Writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code to ensure high quality and maintainability. - Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups to collaborate with the team effectively. - Ensuring seamless integration of front-end UI with the backend API and data layers. - Contributing to the CI/CD pipeline setup and ensuring smooth deployment processes. Required Experience & Skills: - 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development. - Frontend expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Material UI, and real-time dashboard libraries. - Backend expertise in Python, FastAPI, and designing RESTful APIs. - Database skills in PostgreSQL and experience with cloud platforms like AWS. - Soft skills include problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership-driven mindset. Nice to Haves: - Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. - Knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration with Kubernetes. - Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog. - Previous experience in metrics, monitoring, or system resilience platforms. - Familiarity with scalable real-time data architectures and performance optimization for dashboards.
