With recent funding secured, we are expanding our engineering team to accelerate delivery, strengthen product reliability, and drive innovation in IP Tech. As part of the core product engineering team, you will influence how AI-powered IP products evolve and scale.

What Youll Do

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineering Lead, you will play a hands-on leadership role focused on product development, engineering execution, and high-quality delivery across sprints. Product strategy and architecture direction will be driven by senior leadershipthis role demands strong execution, coding excellence, and day-to-day technical leadership.

You will:

Full-Stack Engineering & Development

• Lead full-stack development across ReactJS UI, Python backend, and PostgreSQL database layers.
• Write clean, scalable, secure, and well-tested code, owning complex modules from design to deployment.
• Debug issues, improve performance, and ensure robustness, scalability, and maintainability of products.
• Uphold code quality through peer reviews, pair programming, coding standards, and documentation.

Product Feature Delivery & Execution

• Convert already-scoped product requirements into actionable and clear engineering tasks.
• Drive sprint execution while ensuring timely, high-quality, production-ready feature delivery.
• Break down features into logical implementation steps, clarify technical expectations, and unblock developers.
• Ensure build stability, coordinate with QA on test coverage, validate release readiness, and reduce rework.

LLM & AI Feature Enablement

• Contribute to the design and development of LLM-driven product features, improving user workflows and automation.
• Implement LLM integrations and agentic workflows using LangGraph / LangChain or similar frameworks.
• Support experimentation with prompts, evaluation, model behaviour tuning, and transition to production-grade implementations.
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to integrate prototypes into scalable product features.

Team Guidance & Engineering Discipline

• Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and day-to-day problem-solving support to software engineers.
• Promote engineering best practices, clean architecture principles, and maintainable code standards.
• Lead code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and foster a culture of quality, learning, and accountability.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Product, QA, AI/ML, and DevOps to enable smooth builds, testing, deployments, and releases.
• Communicate risks, dependencies, and status updates clearly, proactively, and with ownership.
• Recommend improvements to development processes, tools, release management, and engineering efficiency.

What Were Looking For

We are seeking a hands-on full-stack engineering leader who brings:

Technical Competencies

• Strong expertise in:

• ReactJS (JavaScript/TypeScript)

  – component-based architecture, reusable UI design, state management (Redux or equivalent)

• Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask)

  – designing RESTful services, backend logic, and API-driven architecture

• PostgreSQL

  – schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimisation
• Practical exposure to LLM-based product development, ideally with LangGraph or LangChain implementations.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and modern software development workflows.
• Experience working in SaaS or enterprise product environments preferred.
• Understanding of secure coding, scalable design patterns, and performance improvements.

• Exposure to LLM lifecycle practices including evaluation, monitoring, prompt frameworks, and productisation of LLM features.
• Experience in IP, LegalTech, enterprise software, or decision-support/knowledge-automation platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, microservices, or cloud-native deployments.
• Experience in early-stage startup environments and engineering-process building.
