Job Title: Senior Full-Stack Developer (Python/Next.js)

About the Role:

Telomere is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our remote engineering team. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining mission-critical products, focusing on scalable, high-quality web applications across both front-end and back-end. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to drive features from concept to deployment, supporting the technical growth of our products and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using Python (Flask/FastAPI) and Next.js, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable code

- Develop and implement RESTful APIs, integrating them with dynamic front-end views, and manage data models, queries, and transactions using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices, and create modular front-end components using React and TypeScript

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, delivery timelines, and participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and decision-making processes

- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security, and maintain effective documentation for system design, architecture, and features

- Assist with issue triaging, debugging, and ongoing maintenance and refactoring, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field

- 5+ years of professional experience building full-stack web applications, with a strong portfolio of work

- Expertise in Python (Flask or FastAPI) and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience using Next.js or React

- Solid understanding of Node.js fundamentals, especially for API gateway or service integration

- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS

- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and testing frameworks

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to Directors, VPs, and C-suite executives

- Professional presence on video, including business-appropriate attire, and availability for live video collaboration

- Ability to work independently and overlap at least 4 hours per business day with U.S. Eastern Time

Nice to Have:

- Experience building internal tools, dashboards, or admin interfaces

- Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or infrastructure-as-code tools

- Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns, including OAuth and JWT

- Experience with server-side rendering, form validation, and state management

Salary:

₹25 Lacs per annum

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹2,500,000.00 per year
