Location: Apply Digital is a hybrid/remote-friendly organization, and is actively recruiting candidates from India and Latin America for this role. Candidates must be able to work according to the Eastern Timezone (ET). Those located in Santiago, Chile, or the Delhi/National Capital Region (NCR) are offered the flexibility to work either from our offices or remotely.

Apply Digital is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our multi-client Managed Services team, responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and continuous improvement of several global e-commerce websites built on BigCommerce and CommerceTools.In this role, you will be part of a global delivery model, collaborating with teams in India, LATAM, and the UK to ensure the smooth operation, stability, and evolution of production environments. You will work across multiple clients and platforms, addressing support tickets, implementing small-to-medium enhancements, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility and compliance standards are met.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving diverse, real-world problems, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll serve as a technical reference for other developers, helping define and uphold best practices for maintainability, code quality, and efficient support workflows.

Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain e-commerce applications built on BigCommerce, CommerceTools, and related headless CMS or loyalty platforms.

Investigate and resolve production issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.

Implement small-to-medium enhancements and feature requests across multiple client sites, ensuring consistency and adherence to coding standards.

Collaborate with LATAM and UK teams to triage issues, estimate tasks, and prioritize work in alignment with client release schedules.

Participate in regular maintenance releases, coordinating QA validation and deployment activities.

Conduct root cause analysis and proactively identify recurring issues or areas for improvement.

Optimize site performance, SEO, and accessibility compliance in partnership with front-end and performance specialists.

Review pull requests, share feedback, and mentor junior developers on best practices and troubleshooting approaches.

Contribute to documentation, knowledge bases, and reusable code patterns that streamline ongoing maintenance.

Communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders when required.

4+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack or Front-End Developer within a digital agency, e-commerce, or SaaS environment.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (ES6+), including debugging and performance tuning.

Experience with BigCommerce (Stencil or Custom Front-End) and/or CommerceTools (Composable Stack, GraphQL, API integration).

Solid understanding of Node.js/ and Express for server-side scripting and integrations.
-
Strong front-end experience using React (Next.js) or Vue (Nuxt.js), plus styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS, SASS, or vanilla CSS.

Practical experience integrating headless CMSs (e.g., Contentful, Contentstack) and third-party APIs (Loyalty, Payments, Analytics, Identity).

Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern deployment practices (CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows).

Experience with RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL queries and mutations.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills — especially under time pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the ability to work effectively with remote, multicultural teams.

Exposure to performance optimization, SEO, or accessibility improvement projects.

Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda, GCP Functions).

Understanding of observability tools (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, or equivalent).

Previous experience in a multi-client support or maintenance environment.
