Job Title: Senior Full Stack MEAN Developer Overview: We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer who is highly proficient in Angular (v15+) , Node.js (v20) , and MongoDB (7.x) . The ideal candidate will join an advanced, custom-built MEAN application environment to immediately contribute code , optimize existing functionalities , and develop new features from day one. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to our established development patterns and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Rapidly understand and contribute to our existing large-scale Angular applications, maintaining high standards for performance and responsiveness. Develop, optimize, and maintain Node.js backend services, emphasizing WebSocket-based real-time communication and Express for third-party integrations. Perform complex MongoDB operations using custom-built wrappers and methods like find() and optimized bulkWrite(). Enhance and maintain internally developed core libraries on both client and server sides, ensuring compatibility in single-server and cluster-worker environments. Utilize and improve custom-built logging and performance monitoring tools within the stack. Proactively identify areas for system optimization and suggest improvements to code structure and development methodologies. Required Skills & Experience: Angular (v15+) : Extensive experience in large, enterprise-grade web applications. Node.js (v20+) : Expert-level skills in building scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems. MongoDB (v7.x) : Advanced understanding of querying, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and bulk operations. TypeScript : Strong proficiency with a focus on clean, professional, and maintainable code. WebSockets : Significant experience with real-time data handling, including one-time function calls (methods) and subscriptions (publications). Familiarity with clustered Node.js deployments and effective use of worker processes . Proven experience in performance-critical environments , focusing on code efficiency, optimization, and scalability. Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing custom frameworks or contributing to large-scale internal libraries . Background in oilfield industry software solutions is a plus. Demonstrated ability to contribute to core application architecture and system-level design improvements . Personal Qualities: Quick adaptability to existing development workflows and coding standards . High attention to detail with a focus on clean , efficient , and well-documented code . Self-driven and able to independently prioritize tasks , meet deadlines, and communicate effectively within a team.
