Job Description

Senior Financial Project Controller plays a key role in providing project financial insight to project managers, business, finance, audit, accounting and other stakeholders. Manages end to end project controlling for customer projects for all Business Groups, being main point of contact for project controlling matters with all stakeholders. Ensures compliance of the related activities with Nokia's accounting principles, internal controls policies, and reporting procedures as well as with external rules and regulations.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Responsible to set up and maintain projects in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, supports Project Management (PM)/Project Management Office (PMO) organization to understand the accounting impacts in the project actuals and forecast.
  • Ensures project adherence to Revenue Recognition Board decisions.
  • Responsible for the correctness of the actual reporting of sales, cost and balance sheet items for the assigned projects.
  • Drive project performance review trough insights on actual figures and accounting topics.
  • Supports and trains new joiners and actively shares knowledge within organization.

Key Skills And Experience

Must have:

  • Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance with 6- 10 years of experience and should have min 5 years of experience in project controlling.
  • Expert skills in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), International Financial Reporting standards (IFRS) and Revenue Recognition Board (RRB) policy
  • Good knowledge of the Nokia business and business drivers.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Background in Finance Tools & Processes.
  • Good Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Collaboration Skills.
