Role & responsibilities Training & Teaching: Deliver high-impact technical training for PGDC/PDC students and executive trainees on : Power Plant Operation & Maintenance Electrical Maintenance & Protection Systems Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Systems Grid Integration & power System Automation Smart Grid & Renewable Energy Technologies (Solar, Wind, etc.) SCADA, DCS, PLC and Power Plant Instrumentation Curriculum Development & Enhancement: Design and update course materials, case studies and assessment modules based on industry advancements Develop practical exercises, simulations and workshops for hands-on learning Technical Workshops & Hands-on Labs: Conduct practical training sessions using simulators and real-world power plant equipment. Guide students on the latest C&I technologies, electrical system analysis and predictive maintenance Industry Collaboration & Mentorship: Provide career guidance and mentorship to students for power sector employment Maintain strong industry connections to ensure students are job-ready Assessment & knowledge Sharing: Conduct regular tests, projects and practical assessments to evaluate student learning Engage in faculty development programs, conferences and technical research Preferred candidate profile Candidates with 20+ years experience in power plant Operation and Electrical/C&I domain or having the experience of working as Electrical/C&I faculty in NPTI for PGDC/PDC.
