Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Publishing Industry Location: Noida Department: Human Resources Reports To: General Manager Talent Acquisition / Head HR- Talent Acquisition Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with a strong background in the publishing industry to join our HR team. This role is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for editorial, designing and other publishing-related roles. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry-specific roles, a strong network within the publishing sector, and experience in implementing innovative recruitment strategies. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Develop and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies to attract top talent for editorial, design and production in the publishing industry. Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job descriptions, and establish hiring timelines. Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and industry events. Conduct screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate candidates skills and cultural fit. Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and build a talent pipeline. Process Improvement & HR Collaboration: Optimize recruitment processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and diversity hiring best practices. Work closely with HR and leadership to support onboarding, retention, and employee experience initiatives. Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, source effectiveness, diversity metrics, etc.) to improve hiring strategies. Industry Knowledge & Networking: Stay updated on trends in publishing, including digital transformation, new media, and talent shifts. Build strong relationships with industry professionals, freelance talent, and publishing associations. Attend publishing conferences, networking events, and career fairs to source top talent. Qualifications & Skills: 5+ years of talent acquisition experience in the publishing industry. Strong understanding of editorial and design roles in publishing. Proven track record of successfully hiring for mid-to-senior-level positions. Experience with ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Workday, iCIMS, etc.) and recruitment tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of DEI best practices in recruitment. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working in book publishing, magazine publishing, or digital media. Established network of publishing professionals and contacts.
