Experience: 4-6 years in Supply Chain Management Education Qualification: Bachelor s/Master s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Salary: As per industry standards Role Overview: The Senior Executive SCM will be responsible for managing and optimizing supply chain operations, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination to meet business objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills, vendor management expertise, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Vendor Management Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations. Inventory Warehouse Management Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory. Implement best practices in warehouse and logistics management. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. Logistics Distribution Oversee transportation and distribution of materials to ensure on-time delivery. Optimize logistics costs and manage third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and documentation. Process Optimization Compliance Streamline SCM processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and statutory requirements. Use ERP/SAP systems for real-time tracking and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with sales, production, and finance teams to align supply chain operations with business goals. Address customer requirements by ensuring availability of required materials. Support new product launches and demand forecasting. Key Skills Competencies: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, procurement strategies, and inventory control. Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP/SAP, Microsoft Excel, and supply chain analytics tools. Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and logistics partners effectively. Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis skills to drive decision-making. Negotiation Vendor Management: Expertise in vendor negotiations and contract management. Problem-Solving: Quick resolution of supply chain bottlenecks and operational challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP) is an advantage. Prior experience in industrial automation, manufacturing, or distribution will be preferred.
