Job Description

Role & responsibilities Analyze sales trends, customer demand, and inventory levels to determine appropriate product assortments and inventory needs. Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical data, market trends, and input from Category and Growth teams to develop accurate demand forecasts. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual demand plans. Collaborative Planning: Work closely with revenue and growth teams to understand sales targets, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to align on demand plans and ensure inventory availability to meet customer demand. Inventory Management: Work closely with the Supply Planner to optimize inventory and always ensure availability. Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze demand patterns, evaluate forecast accuracy, and identify areas for improvement. Generate regular reports and insights to support decision-making processes. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and finance, to align on demand plans, supply chain strategies, and inventory management initiatives. Foster strong relationships to ensure smooth execution of plans. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance demand planning processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and standardize procedures across the organization. Managing warehouse operations, involving and coordinating with various & other external agencies to achieve seamless & cost- effective transport solutions. Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in Operation expenditures and work within the budget. Handling stores operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings without hampering the production & distribution process. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory management. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems and procedures for regulated markets. Basic knowledge of ERP & MRP/ Planning Tools exposure. Analytical and Communication skills. Planning and Coordination skills.
