Role & responsibilities Sourcing Source and negotiate with potential suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability based on predefined criteria for the materials under the categories of Opex / Capex and services Purchasing and Procurement Managing the daily purchasing activities/collaborating with internal customers to understand their requirements & develop procurement plans accordingly. Negotiating with the suppliers for the technical, timeline and pricing Maintain the supplier database, Purchase records preferably in ERP system Continuously evaluate and improve procurement practices, including identifying cost-saving opportunities. Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution. Supply Chain Management Co-ordinate for the shipping logistics and ensure the end-to-end data visibility Ensure accurate documentation Stay updated on regulatory requirements & ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in general and customs related and SEZ rules in particular Performance Management Ensure the quality and timeline for all the supplies Maintain the supplier performance (Quality/timeline) at required level Ensure the continual improvement of supplier capacity & capability process enhancement. Risk Management/Assessment for Ramp up/ Business continuity Preferred candidate profile In-depth knowledge in Purchasing, Procurement function, and shall have exposure to best practices. Good experience in the Indian market and familiarity with local suppliers and sourcing channels. Strong Negotiation Skills along with the verbal and written communication skills. Hands on experience in ERP MM Module preferably SAP and Strong Excel skill. In-depth knowledge in Customs related and SEZ Rules.
