Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to join our Business Development team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive support to the General Manager (Business Development) in all pre-tender and post-tender activities. Your primary focus will be on data management, documentation, coordination, and ensuring compliance throughout the bid lifecycle, from initial credential preparation to the finalization of project agreements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Compilation & Market Intelligence

  • Periodically update and maintain the company's core credentials, profiles, and obtained certifications.
  • Research, identify, and prepare a list of key players (both domestic and international) in the infrastructure market for potential associations, Joint Ventures (JVs), and subcontracting.
  • Maintain an updated database of competitive players in the infrastructure industry.

2. Pre-Tender Activities

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of pre-bid queries and all departmental correspondences.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and prepare detailed minutes and action points.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, JV partners, and clients during the pre-bid phase.
  • Track all client queries raised during the technical bid scrutiny and assist in preparing timely, justified responses.
  • Support in drafting internal MOUs, Joint Venture Agreements, B2B agreements, and Bank Guarantees (Bid Security, Performance).
  • Prepare comparative statements of previously quoted tender prices for future reference and strategy.

3. Post-Tender Activities & Documentation

  • Manage all post-LOA (Letter of Award) activities, including the preparation of documents required for the final contract agreement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Finance, Operations) to compile and submit all necessary documents on time.
  • Maintain systematic physical and digital records of all tender and contract-related documents.
  • Ensure timely submission of Performance Bank Guarantees (PBGs), Advanced Payment Bank Guarantees (APBGs), Insurances (CAR, WC), and other statutory compliances as per contract requirements.
  • Follow up with clients for the release of EMDs and ensure all contractual formalities are completed until the project is handed over to the execution team.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    MBA in Marketing / Business Administration, OR B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Experience:

    2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within the

    Infrastructure, Construction, or EPC industry

    . Experience in tender management is a must.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in MS Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Strong understanding of tender processes, bid documentation, and contract agreements.
    • Familiarity with Bank Guarantees, Insurance policies (CAR, WC), and other statutory compliance requirements in construction.
