Senior Executive Logistics & Operations

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Executive Logistics & Operations to manage end-to-end logistics and operations, vehicle planning, and coordination for smooth order fulfilment. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to liaise with suppliers and drivers, and a keen focus on tracking, invoicing, and customer delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations between logistics, manufacturing, and accounts for efficient inventory and stock management. Key Responsibilities: Logistics & Transportation Management: Plan and schedule vehicle numbers for daily operations. Ensure timely vehicle placement for order dispatch. Coordinate with suppliers for efficient vehicle loading. Monitor and track shipments at 4-hour intervals to ensure on-time deliveries. Oversee vehicle unloading at customer locations. Maintain constant communication with drivers for real-time tracking and issue resolution. Order Processing & Inventory Management: Oversee order processing, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch. Manage stock orders and raw material procurement as per operational needs. Work closely with manufacturing units to ensure smooth coordination of logistics. Billing & documentation: Generate invoices for customers while the vehicle is in transit. Ensure timely generation of Receipts/ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery) upon delivery. Coordinate with the accounts team for billing accuracy and payment reconciliation. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong coordination and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams. Proficiency in logistics tracking systems and Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree (Any) 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management. Hands-on experience in order processing, inventory management, and billing.
