Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced professional to support the direct taxation (80% role) and audit functions. The role requires strong knowledge of review of notices, GL Scrutiny, TDS Liability calculations, Knowledge of TDS Return filings, compliances, tax audits, and experience in handling income tax matters in a listed company environment. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing routine tax filings and supporting statutory audits. This is supporting role under the Taxation Head.

Key Responsibilities:Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly TDS returns accurately and on time.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITRs).
• Coordinate with internal teams and consultants for annual tax audit processes.
• Ensure timely submission of relevant documents and reconciliations for tax audits.
• Ensure to generate FORM 16 for the employees.
• Knowledge of scrutiny of trial balance.
• Knowledge of Deferred tax liability and assets.

Audit Support

• Assist in quarterly statutory audits and limited reviews related to taxation areas.
• Provide necessary data, documentation, and clarifications to auditors.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

Mandatory Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in direct taxation.
• Prior experience working in a company listed on

  NSE/BSE

  is preferable.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Working Experience in SAP.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
