Brief About The Role/ Team/ Candidate Requirement

The Data Analyst in flight ops plays a critical role in monitoring and analyzing pilot availability, scheduling patterns, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for preparing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making by the leadership team. Key responsibilities include tracking sickness trends, analyzing no-show duty travel, maintaining Extended Medical Leave (EML) records, and ensuring accurate data reporting from AIMS and MS Forms. The analyst will also work closely with Fleet Supervisors to improve data accuracy, optimize crew utilization, and enhance overall roster stability.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.

Job responsibility

Reports & Dashboards

Prepare and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and data visualizations as directed by the Reporting Manager and Leadership Pilots.Ensure all monthly reports are completed, reviewed, and presented to the leadership team for informed decision-making.

Sickness & Non-Availability Analysis

Monitor and analyze trends in pilot sickness and non-availability.Investigate underlying patterns and provide insights to improve workforce availability.

No-Show Duty Travel Analysis

Track and analyze pilot no-shows for duty travel.Assess the financial impact of no-shows and recommend strategies to mitigate revenue loss.

Extended Medical Leave (EML) Tracking

Maintain accurate records of Extended Medical Leave (EML) data and forms.Collaborate with Fleet Supervisors to ensure timely submission and verification of EML claims, minimizing delays and discrepancies.

MS Forms Data Analysis

Analyze data from MS Forms used for operational processes.Ensure task completion and timely follow-ups by coordinating with Fleet Supervisors.

AIMS Data Reporting & Crew Analysis

Analyze crew performance, availability, and roster data from AIMS.Maintain up-to-date dashboards and presentations to support real-time decision-making.

Roster & Pairing Data Analysis

Monitor and analyze pairing data in relation to sickness patterns and pilot availability.Identify trends affecting roster stability and track pilot qualification for critical sectors.
