SENIOR ENGINEER SUPPORT

Summary of the Role

In this role, you’ll support and maintain hardware and software systems, resolve technical incidents, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure smooth IT operations. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to tools and processes.

In This Role You’ll

  • Resolve functional and technical incidents related to hardware, software, and enterprise systems, or escalate them to appropriate internal or external teams.

  • Support systems including personal computers, servers, mainframe applications, and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.

  • Investigate and resolve user-reported issues, including troubleshooting, system monitoring, and performance alerts using tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Argos.

  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud-based systems.

  • Recommend updates to the Knowledge Solutions database and provide clear communication to users and stakeholders.

About You

  • Experience in production support, incident management, and change management.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and basic database query skills.

  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals and distributed system applications.

  • Experience using monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Argos.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
