Job Description

Senior Engineer - Product and Platform Engineering, with Finance domain having 6 - 10 years of experience, should possess strong expertise in Spring Boot and demonstrate advanced proficiency in developing and deploying microservices.
The candidate is expected to leverage Spring MVC to create robust web applications that ensure seamless integration with backend services.
A deep understanding of Java as a backend language is essential for writing optimized and maintainable code while diagnosing and resolving complex application issues.
Familiarity with middleware concepts is crucial, as the role involves designing and implementing middleware solutions for service communication.
With a proven track record in architecting enterprise-level applications, the candidate will engage in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering and deployment.
A solid grounding in software design principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
A Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science or a Master of Technology in Software Engineering is required, with certifications like Oracle Certified Professional and AWS Certified Solutions Architect being preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, unit testing frameworks, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and version control systems such as Git are good to have.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Oversee the development and maintenance of middleware MVC applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver robust solutions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical and professional development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Implement best practices for unit testing to ensure high code quality and reliability in software deliveries.
Manage deployment pipelines using Jenkins to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications to AWS environments.
Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain operational efficiency.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, advocating for innovative approaches to improve product and platform engineering processes.
