We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Piping Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in piping design, analysis, and project management. In this role, you will lead piping engineering projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design and analysis of piping systems for various projects, ensuring integrity and compliance with relevant codes (e.g., ASME, API). - Develop and review engineering documentation, including P&IDs, isometric drawings, and layout plans. - Create and enforce piping specifications and standards to ensure quality and consistency across projects. - Conduct stress analysis using appropriate tools and methods to evaluate the performance of piping systems under various operating conditions. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless project execution. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff. - Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical insights. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure project delivery within scope. - Identify and mitigate project risks related to piping engineering and propose solutions to overcome challenges. - Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance engineering processes and promote innovation. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master s degree preferred. - Minimum of [insert years of experience, e.g., 7 years] of experience in piping engineering within the [insert relevant industry] sector. - Proven expertise in piping design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, CAEPIPE, or equivalent). - Strong knowledge of piping materials, fabrication, installation, and inspection processes. - Excellent understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, etc.). - Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multidisciplinary projects. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members. - Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus. - Ability to work independently and make sound engineering decisions.
