Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, Machine Learning Engineering in the Business & Market Insights (B&MI) group at Mastercard, your primary role will involve developing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing AI/ML solutions for the Operational Intelligence Program. You will be responsible for executing the strategic vision for machine learning projects, staying updated on the latest advancements in AI technologies, and collaborating with business partners to drive product definition and direction. Additionally, you will focus on driving scalability, security, and performance across all software solutions, fostering a culture of innovation, mentoring team members, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the strategic vision for machine learning projects within the program - Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models and systems - Stay updated on advancements in machine learning and AI technologies - Collaborate with business partners on product definition and roadmaps - Drive scalability, security, and performance across software solutions - Foster next-gen technology innovation and continuous learning within the team - Mentor team members to develop robust and scalable software - Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation - Handle any other organizational assignments as required Qualifications Required: - Masters/bachelors degree in computer science or engineering - Proven track record of successfully building complex projects/products - Hands-on experience with conventional AI/ML solutions and LLM/Agentic solutions - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Experience with advanced statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL - Familiarity with data visualization tools and cloud computing services - High-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, as an employee of Mastercard, you are expected to adhere to the company's security policies and practices, maintain confidentiality and integrity of information, report any security violations, and complete all mandatory security trainings to ensure information security across the organization.,
