PURPOSE

To ensure that the quality of export packing meets international standards, safeguarding the integrity and reliability of 2-wheeler products during transit, and contributing to customer satisfaction and organizational growth.

Educational Qualifications

B.E B.Tech/ in Mechanical Engineering

Skill

1. Proficiency in export packing standards and quality assurance processes.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve packing-related issues.

3. Excellent communication and coordination skills in English to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

4. Familiarity with tools and techniques for quality control and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure quality standards for export packing are consistently met for all 2-wheeler products.

2. Develop and implement inspection processes to maintain product integrity during transit.

3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to meet export requirements.

4. Analyse and address any deviations in packing processes or material quality to prevent defects.

5. Monitor adherence to international packaging and export compliance regulations.

6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for packing operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Knowledge

1. In-depth understanding of export regulations and packaging compliance specific to the 2-wheeler industry.

2. Awareness of safety and environmental standards applicable to packaging materials.

3. Hands-on experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools like 5S, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing and Quality tools for root cause analysis.

4. Knowledge of industry-specific best practices for export packing to minimize transit damage.
