Senior Engineer - FEA (Ansys)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Perform machine design calculations and simulations to ensure the mechanical integrity of our products. 2. Analyse and optimize the design of mechanical components, including but not limited to, bearings, gears, and structural elements. 3. Design optimization and cost out through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) studies. 4. Design for reliability and life to ensure product longevity and durability. 5. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve problems. 6. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in mechanical design principles and technologies. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and technicians, to ensure successful project execution. 8. Create and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. 9. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure our products meet or exceed customer Preferred candidate profile 1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2. 5-12 years of experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) 3. Working experience in special purpose machine manufacturing company is a bonus 4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of mechanical design principles. 5. Proficiency in using CAD software for 3D modeling and simulation. 6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
