35 years of post-qualification experience with strong working knowledge on Manual Security code review.
Secure Code Management
Ensure applications utilize GitHub for source code storage.
Enforce compliance with standard repository configurations and least privilege access controls.
Coordinate remediation of secrets and other security issues found in code.
Promote and facilitate secure code management practices across development teams.
Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders for status updates.
Source Code Scanning
Maintain and manage the Aqua Security platform and related infrastructure for code scanning.
Conduct security scans including:
Static Application Security Testing (SAST) e.g., using tools like SonarQube, CodeQL
Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) e.g., using tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite
Secrets Detection e.g., TruffleHog, Gitleaks
Container Scanning e.g., Aqua, Anchore, Clair
Open-Source Software (OSS) Scanning e.g., Snyk, WhiteSource, Dependabot
Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) e.g., Syft, CycloneDX
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Scanning e.g., Checkov, Terraform Compliance
Ensure GitHub Actions are implemented for automated SAST and OSS scanning.
Drive scanning coverage across applications and onboard new applications as needed.
Monitor and enforce 100% DAST scanning compliance for internet-facing applications.
Provide regular updates and collaborate with global and regional teams.
