Your impact
- Candidate should possess following technical knowledge as a minimum
- Prepare Basis of Design, Load list, Single Line Diagram, Schematics.
- Power distribution from 33kV / 22kV and downstream based on power ratings of equipment to various voltage levels 11kV / 6.6kV / 3.3kV & 415V. Other national standard voltage levels for GID project.
- Calculations for Transformer sizing. DG set sizing, UPS (Static / Rotary) and Battery Charger (DC UPS) sizing.
- Cable sizing calculation and Cable Schedule.
- Prepare Electrical Equipment Specifications and Data Sheets.
- Prepare Material Requisitions, TBE, Purchase Requisitions.
- Vendor Document review of Electrical and Mechanical Packages.
- Equipment Layout conforming to NBC/CEIG/ Electricity Rules for Indian projects; and respective National Standards for GID projects.
- Design of earthing / grounding per IS 3043 or IEC 60364
- Lightning Protection design per IS/IEC 62305
- Lighting calculation for indoor, outdoor using DiaLUX / Evo / AGi 32
- Electrical layout drawings – Power, Earthing, Lighting, Lightning Protection layouts. 3D Model review for layouts.
- Inter-department coordination and Squad check, ELV services inputs
- Erection Tender document and MTO.
- Inspection of electrical equipment at Manufacturer’s Works
- Site supervision and support to commissioning team, if required.
- ETAP studies-LF/SC/Arc-Flash/Harmonics, Relay is added advantage
- In addition to above technical knowledge, following roles to handle
- Responsibility of timely completion of deliverables.
- Progress monitoring and estimate time to complete.
- Attend meetings with clients, as required
- Communicate with suppliers and contractors.
Here's what you'll need
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with First Class
- Knowledge of Electrical codes & standards (IS / IEC / NBC) is mandatory.
- Knowledge of 3D engineering, review of 3D models using Navisworks.
- Competent user of MS Office 365 Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
