Description
As an experienced Electrical Engineer in the Life Science industry, your role at Jacobs will involve project execution, installation, and commissioning of electrical equipment. You will be responsible for the calculation and design of electrical systems including load summary, sizing of power equipment, DG sets, and cables. Additionally, you will design electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD) with protection schemes, calculate illumination requirements, and design ELV systems such as fire & alarm, access control, and public address systems. Key Responsibilities: - Attend meetings with clients to identify their requirements - Propose systems and schemes for electrical projects - Prepare design specifications and develop layout drawings - Assist in the preparation of tender & enquiry documents for electrical equipment - Knowledge of IS / IEC / BS / NEC standards - Liaise and coordinate with other departments in the design process - Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and contractors - Track and monitor the progress of projects Qualifications Required: - Minimum qualification: BE / B-Tech - Experience: 12+ years in industries like Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, FMCG, Chemical, or Data Center - Proficiency in software like ETAP, Dia-Lux, AutoCAD, and good computer literacy In addition to technical skills, Jacobs values your well-being and professional growth.
