Job responsibilities: Developing and Designing Printing and Packaging Machine Drawings and Assemblies Improving existing design of machines and accessories Checking of detailed drawings & design and their documentation Preparing BOM and detailed costing sheet for complete machine/assemblies/subassemblies Visiting vendors & manufacturers site for checking parts are manufactured as per drawings Ensuring that designed products are providing desired function Creating new part codes, uploading BOM, Monitoring BOM and inventory masters in ERP (SAP preferred) Working with cross functional teams to complete projects/job orders on time. Preferred candidate profile Diploma/BE Mechanical Engineering Extensive experience in machine design & in selection of engineering Bought out, min 3-4 years in printing/packaging industry Fundamental engineering concepts (Strength of Material/Machine Design etc.) should be clear. Creating high quality detailed drawings, and thorough knowledge of GD&T and materials. Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written English). Analytical, Innovative, Hardworking, capable of translating concepts to realization
