Senior Engineer, Cloud Site Reliability Engineering

As a Senior Cloud SRE Engineer at LSEG, you will be a crucial member of the Cloud Site Reliability Engineering team, focusing on the availability, performance, and scalability of one of the most impactful platforms at LSEG. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engineer, maintain, and optimize hybrid Azure Platform and Services with a focus on automation, reliability, scalability, and performance. - Collaborate with Azure Platform engineering teams and other cross-functional teams to enhance reliability in the build and release stages for the Azure Platform and products. - Develop and deploy automation tools and frameworks to reduce manual effort and enhance automation. - Guide teams in Cloud products and services, ensuring alignment with the overall Azure Platform strategy. - Adhere to best practices in Azure administration, development, and DevOps processes. - Continuously seek areas of improvement, provide innovative solutions, and solve technical issues. - Participate in project-related activities to meet operational needs. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for landing zone components, processes, and procedures. - Provide high-level customer service and critical thinking under pressure. - Follow established ITSM processes and procedures (Incident, Request, Change, and Problem Management). **Qualifications Required:** - Proven 5 years" experience in Site Reliability Engineering with a focus on Azure Platform Landing Zones and services. - Relevant Azure certification such as Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104). - Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code. - Experience in Agile environments and Agile principles. - Experience in platform and product observability with tools like Datadog or Azure native tooling. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** - Knowledge in setting up enterprise scale Azure Landing Zones and experience with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, etc. - Strong problem-solving skills and incident/service management experience. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Understanding of financial institutes and markets.
