Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  1. Create inspection plan, conduct inspections, record results, and monitor to ensure products or processes meet quality standards.
  2. Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and issues
  3. Prioritize quality issues and coordinate implementation of quality initiatives and improvements
  4. Conduct SQP audit, Process audit and Product audit at Supplier end and drive improvements.
  5. Communicate quality issues to suppliers in a timely manner, get Corrective action from supplier, track and review effectiveness of actions taken.
  6. Review material technical data sheet and PDI report received from supplier and identify improvements.
  7. Execute SQP audits as per plan and ensure audit findings are closed within timeframe.
  8. Develop and periodically review Agreement of Inspection with suppliers.
  9. Drive improvements in the Supplier parts and processes to eliminate or reduce rejections and customer complaints.
  10. Record and maintain related reports and MIS and participate in the management review.
