Job Description

Business/ Financial Follow best practices inside the lab to setup error free work environment by taking corrective measures, standardized lab protocols and proper witnessing. Establishes, implements, and maintains clinical lab service standards to ensure that meticulous standards for quality control/assurance and risk management are met. Responsible to ensure timely delivery of reports according to the defined and promised TAT Operations Monitoring embryos as they develop to determine health and quality. Responsible for counseling to the patient and to determining fertility levels of individuals. Responsible for IVF lab sterilization and conducting various procedures like IUI, ICSI and so on. Responsible for patient statistical prparation and maintenance. Embryo selection for transfer to recipient women, research or other intended use and the implantation of embryos into reproductive organs. Reviewing and determining the quality of harvested eggs. Fertilizing eggs with sperm including the use of ICSI when needed Responsible for embryo culture and cryopreservation. Responsible for micromanipulation and testing of suitability of each gamete. To maintain viability of gametes, tissues and embryos during processing. Taking proper care and maintenance of lab equipments. Responsible for recording, analyzing and interpreting data in accordance to guidelines. Maintain accurate records and perform tests on all activities conducted in laboratory. Maintaining proper documentation of all paper works and computer records relating to various procedures conducted in Lab. Proactively perform semen processing and media preparation on days having high no. of cases. Coordinating with cross functional departments for receiving information/ timely resolution of queries Customer Maintain purchase orders for all laboratory processes and monitor inventory for same and coordinate same with purchase department. Exercises autonomous professional responsibility for assessment of and provision for the counselling needs of patients. Maintaining highly complex, sensitive information, taking into account confidentiality whilst maintaining patient safety. People Promotes and maintains good working relationships within the team and other unit Sharing information, knowledge and learning from demonstrated expertise Educational Qualifications: M.Sc.-Biotechnology Work Experience Having 5-8 years of experience in Clinical Embryology Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to listen to various opinions and propose constructive solutions Familiarity with laboratory quality control, inspection and troubleshooting procedures. Excellent knowledge transfer and management skills Expected Deliverables Ensure adherence to NABH Standards and Protocols Documentation and Audit Readiness Patient Satisfaction Index Adherence to quality protocols as per the lab requirements. Accuracy in analysis and report generation.
