Senior Director Quality Assurance

Role & responsibilities

• Strong experience leading large-scale, multi-level engineering teams.
  
• Deep technical expertise in storage, file systems, Linux kernel storage, or related system-level domains.
  
• Proven track record in defining advanced test strategies and automation frameworks.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Passion for continuous improvement and challenging existing processes.
  
• Ability to work onsite in the Bangalore office as per company policy.

Candidate Profile

• Overall experience of 18-25 years with atleast 10 years in

  QA & Testing

  .

• Domain :

  Preferred domain in

  Storage

  . We are also open to consider candidates from

  Virtualisation, CPU Design, System Programming, Devices Networking Protocols

  etc.

• Team management

  - Should have

  managed teams of 50+

  for atleast 3 years with direct reports including managers, architects and principal engineers.

• Should have played the role of a

  director

  successfully for atleast 2 years with both

  business and delivery

  responsibilities in an

  offshore/onsite environment

  .

• Stakeholder management

  - should have worked in

  global roles and managed global stakeholders

  from US/European locations and

  virtual design and development

  teams spread out in various locations.

• We are looking for a

  QA Leader

  who comes with proven though leadership, strategic expertise and collabortaive and progressive mindset. Excellent communication & executive presence.

• This is a work from office role from

  Bangalore

  . There is about 30% travel for this job.
