Planning and execution of therapeutic diets Diet consultation for both in-patients and outpatients Providing therapeutic nutritional care for in-patients Updating of patient diet-related information in HIS and ensure billing for extra items Daily ward rounds to meet all the patients and note the changes if any with respect to therapeutic needs /food habits of the patients Supervision of the hospital kitchen and cafeterias Food tasting of all meals and supervision of patient tray plating Maintenance of records for quality check: food evaluation, kitchen cleanliness, health and hygiene records of the kitchen staff Organizing nutrition education and awareness programs for the public as a team with other health care personnel Report patient feedback /issues/concerns /all records to the Manager on a daily basis Any other responsibility as deemed fit, from time to time, by the reporting authority and the management.
