Job Description

You do not just point out problems, you solve them. • When you commit to a task - whether it is huge and scary or tiny and boring – you are going to see it through to the best of your ability. PUBLIC • You are not an application developer, but you do not shy away from whipping up scripts and code for deployment automation, prototyping, plug-ins, or custom tools. • You are very good at debugging and have the knack to quickly identify and isolate infrastructure issues from application issues. • You have great communication skills and can present and talk technology at a wavelength that matches the audience. What you have proven experience in • Containerizing applications using Docker file and running it using Docker commands • Working with applications running in Windows and Linux containers that are managed using container orchestration platforms like ECS or Kubernetes • Deploying and running cloud native applications at scale in production on AWS • Designing and automating CI and CD pipelines using Jenkins or comparable tools • Deploying application releases and patches to production environments • Implementing log management, aggregation, and analytics solutions • Designing and implementing observability dashboards • Developing and maintaining cloud operation runbooks • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code • Scripting in PowerShell/Python/Shell • Working closely with the development team to address application and infra issues What you ideally also have experience in • Prometheus • OpenTelemetry • Elastic Logging Stack • Grafana
